Google adsense has stringent laws now?

I have been trying to create a google adsense account but it keeps rejecting the application. The laws indicate that you need to own a domain atleast 6 months prior to applying for adsense..
Also, it should be a www.example.com domain and not a www.example.com/myname so that means no more blogspot or wordpress
Is there a work around to this? What is the best possible option if adsense doesnt work?
