Advertising on PTC websites?

Hi,
I have joined clixsense & have clicked my way to a ‘massive’ $3.50 lol! I could convert this money to send traffic to my website. I could send over 300 people to my website within minutes – but would it be worth it?
Has anyone advertising via PTC methods. I would advertise my latest forum in an effort to gain members – but how many members do you think I’d get from 300 visitors?
