advertising on sub domains

hi,
i just to have hosting with gigacities (were people can get sub domains e.g. sitename.gigacities.net) and i am thinking of getting another one.
but i was wandering if i could advertise on it to get money or am i not allowed to advertise on sites like that.
can someone tell me please.
