WidgetBuckets for non English sites

I’m considering to replace Adsense by WidgetBuckets. The problem is that my major site is mostly in French.
According to what I read on their site, this should not be possible, or only generate pay per view ads.
But I’ve been surfing around a lot this weekend and found dozens of ‘foreign and foreign speaking’ sites presenting exactly the same WB ads as US sites.
Has anyone more information about this?
