CPC and Cost ? Bids of $100 in AVNAds – help !

Hey,
I recently switched my adult publishing to AVNAds, currently we have over 190 bids for our CPC Text ad’s, we have several high bids and one is of $100 for CPC (CPM is an option), obviously this wouldn’t be a single bid for a click, it has two options as a header highest PPC or COST, the $100 bid is for COST.
My question is what is COST compared to PPC.
Can anyone help or explain this to me,
