Google Maps Now Showing More Public Transportation Info
Google Maps upped the level of detail on public transit stations (like subway stations). Click on a subway station (the mouse doesn’t change to a hand, but it works) and you get a balloon telling you what trains stop at that station, with a link to the transit company’s website for more info. Still no bus information, and they don’t display the actual subway line, but Google Maps keeps improving at a great pace. Love it.

Lifehacker also shows you how Google Maps can produce latitude and longtitude values. Just go anywhere on the map, and paste this in your address bar:
javascript:void(prompt(”,gApplication.getMap().getCenter()));
Hit enter, and a popup will give you the lat and long coordinates. It’s that damn easy.
