Google Docs Gets Some New Features
The Google Docs team announced some new features in this Google Groups thread.
You can now share your documents with whole mailing lists, although the regular technical restrictions are still in effect (only 200 people can collaborate on any document, and only ten can edit at a time).
Document owners can specify if collaborators can invite more people to edit.
Documents can now be save as .txt plain text files.
Docs now supports writing from right-to-left by clicking the style menu, useful for certain languages, and just generally confusing people.
The “Collaborate” tab is now called the “Share” tab. Because collaborate is such a dirty word.
