Ask City, from Ask.com, has added a cool feature that lets you pick an area on the map, draw a line around it, and get local search results in just that area. It’s a great feature, because it means I don’t have to know the zip code, don’t have to decide how many freakin’ miles I’m willing to travel from that zip code, and hope the radius surrounding the zip code I’ve chosen includes a damn pizza place. I’m looking for lunch, not a math problem!
Point is, Ask City makes it a whole lot easier to say, “Where can I find some food in an area I’m going to be in later?” Just draw some boxes around the areas you know you’ll be hanging out in, click the magnifying glass, and find out if there’s something good to eat while you’re there. […]
