Make Google Look More Like Ask.com

It’s no secret I like Ask.com’s approach to universal search a whole lot better than Google’s, both in concept and execution, so I really like this Greasemonkey user script that hacks Google search to make it look a lot like Ask’s. The script takes out the right sidebar of Google ads (goodbye monetization) and replaces it with a bar containing Google Images, Google Video, Wikipedia, and Dictionary.com results, and you can always hack it yourself to add more.

I know it’s a cruel idea, but what if someone released a Greasemonkey script that replaced the search results on Ask.com with those from Google Search? I know it kind of defeats the purpose of switching search engines, but if someone wanted Ask’s interface and secondary search, but the familiarity of Google Search, it could be a sort of solution.
