More annoying than new PPP ads

Seems a lot of webmasters are afraid these new audio ads are gonna scare away their visitors. I believe there are probably much more annoying ads out there already and those sites seem to be surviving fine.
The one that annoys me the most are those full page ads by adbrite… along with some of their banners that sneak thru and resize my browser. They totally disrupt what I was doing whereas audio ads won’t.
I think most people won’t be too "shell shocked" either when these start playing on sites they visit… And I don’t think they will be anywhere as near annoying as those "OH MY GOD" and "CONGRATULATIONS" banners that we had to deal with before.
What may be working for one website, may be totally wrong for another. They key — as always — is to find the right combination for your niche.
