Thoughts on Pay Per Play ( PPP ) Advertising

Just wanted to gather some thoughts on PPP advertising. Another thread here is advertising a new PPP program that pays based on loads of a five second audio that plays in the background with someone loads a webpage with the Java code embedded.
I know I’ve seen this type of advertising on some major websites, including CBS sportsline and other news sites.
Do you think this type of advertising will continue to blossom, and do you think money can be made from programs like this new PPP – Net Audio Ads?
