Fred Thompson Speaks At Google – No, Not THAT Fred Thompson

When I saw this video pop up on the AtGoogleTalks YouTube channel, I figured Google had landed another 2008 U.S. Presidential candidate for its speaker series. Alas, it was a different Fred Thompson, one who knows more about barbecuing than Law & Order and politics.

Fred wrote Barbecue Nation, a book with 350 recipes for grilling. Not sure if Google thought they were booking the presidential candidate, but I’m sure there are some people who’d prefer a good steak to talking politics, so I’ll bet the audience had a nice time.
