Need Help about BlogAds and Text Link Ads

hi,
After signing up blogads and text link ads, i still blur on how these things works. Am i suppose to find the advertiser myself or they find me? Normally how fast do the advertiser find you?
Another questions for blogads, since blogads can only be invited, i sent an email to the blogads to be invited but until now i’m still receive no reply from them. Any diea?
