Can anyone help a noob out?

Hey guys, I’m about to open my first webpage and I could use some advice when it comes to the advertising since I pretty much have no idea what I’m doing.
It’s going to be an adult oriented site and all I really want to know is how to get started. There are so many different ad companies out there and different methods such as cpc nd cpm and affiliate programs. I’m really not sure which companies to use (in terms of whether or not they pay on time and such) and which methods work best.

Google users get bogus warning on site searches

Computer users doing Google searches during a nearly one-hour period Saturday were greeted with disturbing but erroneous messages that every site turned up in the results might be harmful.
The company blamed the mistake on human error and apologized for any inconvenience caused to users and site owners whose pages were incorrectly labeled.
The glitch occurred between 9:30 a.m. EST and 10:25 a.m. EST, Google Inc. said in an explanation on its company blog. Anyone who did a Google search during that time likely saw the message ‘This site may harm your computer’ accompanying every search result, the company said.

Stay Away From Clicksor – Full of scams & Viruses

Well I was using clicksor for 3months and this is all I made from them
$498.61 in 3 months.
How much money I made from clicksor(from the 3 months, with popups) :
Impressions Clicks Earnings
Total 13,939,219 7,015 $523.56
Cpx Interactive(1 month data, with no popups):
Impressions Clicks Earnings
Total 9,487,121 14,011 $1379.46
I got around 200 people complaining to me that they got some viruses from my site 1 day after I put the clicksor ad’s on the site. Now I need to reapply at cpxinteractive because of the switch.
Stay away from them.
